Greetings from all of us at Immanuel”

Pastor Randy Barton from the Lansing City Rescue Mission will be leading our study today in James 1:1-15, teaching us that when we say "yes" to the desire to do what we want, instead of trusting God and obeying Him, sin is born.

At Immanuel Community Reformed Church, Our Mission is: “Going into the community, imitating Christ, by feeding body and soul”.

Our 4 core values are:  nurturing children and youth, doing acts of service, responding to real needs in the community, and welcoming the stranger.

Our hope is that we have established an atmosphere where all feel welcome here and are able to engage all that God is, with all that we are!

Greetings from all of us at Immanuel”

Pastor Matt Shults will be leading our study today in Revelation 21, teaching us that through the victory of Christ on the cross and rule of His kingdom, we now can live with the Lord. The scriptures reveal that when we come to Christ we become the people of God and God blesses us. Revelation 21 is picturing the church in its perfected state at the end of the reign of Christ. John is seeing the eternal reward being given to God’s people.

“Greetings from all of us at Immanuel”

Whether you are a regular attendee, or this is your first time with us, we wanted to make sure that you know how much we appreciate you joining us here for worship today at Immanuel Community Reformed Church. Our mission here at ICRC is “Going into the community, imitating Christ, by feeding body and soul”.  Our 4 core values are:  nurturing children and youth, doing acts of service, responding to real needs in the community, and welcoming the stranger. Our hope is that we have established an atmosphere where all feel welcome here and are able to engage all that God is, with all that we are!

The ancient prophets foretold the details of a Redeemer’s coming in a way that makes it impossible to believe anything other than Jesus is the Christ, Immanuel, God with us. The disciples verified all that was foretold about Him from old.  We strive to be brilliant, gospel lights holding up the truth of God’s exciting plan fulfilled in Jesus and reflect Him in the midst of the darkness all around.

Greetings from all of us at Immanuel

Whether you are a regular attendee, or this is your first time with us, we wanted to make sure that you know how much we appreciate you joining us here for worship today at Immanuel Community Reformed Church. Our mission here at ICRC is “Going into the community, imitating Christ, by feeding body and soul”.  Our 4 core values are:  nurturing children and youth, doing acts of service, responding to real needs in the community, and welcoming the stranger. Our hope is that we have established an atmosphere where all feel welcome here and are able to engage all that God is, with all that we are!

Pastor Tom will be leading our study today in Isaiah 7:1-17, teaching us that God prepared for the first Advent long before the first Christmas. The ancient prophets foretold the details in a way that makes it impossible to believe anything other than Jesus is the Christ, Immanuel, God with us. The disciples verified all that was foretold about Him from old, and as we reflect on Old Testament prophecies and eyewitness testimony we will no longer be considered ignorant on all matters of salvation, but instead we will be brilliant, gospel lights holding up the truth in the midst of the darkness all around.

October M.O.M, CWS CROP Hunger Walk: Did you know that 1.1 billion people in developing countries live on an income of $1 a day or less, and that every day, more than 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes?  That is about one child every five seconds.  Let us stand with Church World Services, and impoverished people around the world, to envision a way to reach a better future.

Today is the last Sunday to donate to this worthy mission by either:

·         placing a check in the offering plate after the Sunday services.

·         mailing a check to the church office at 3200 Delta River Dr., Lansing, 48906

·         or by donating online at www.crophungerwalk.org/lansingmi, we are registered as Lansing Immanuel Community Reformed!

(Checks should be made out to ICRC, designating CWS/ CROP in the memo area. Please also include your envelope number if you would like this donation recorded on your end-of-the-year tithing statement.)

We Thank God for Our CONNECT Team Leaders: who have found unique and exciting ways to help our children grow even when we cannot meet together for Kid’s CONNECT at this time.

Currently our team has planned a "Moments of Devotion” series, where kits are assembled with a devotion, an activity, and a prayer to be add to their “Prayer Key Chain”.  The kits are then delivered by our team leaders, every other week, to the children’s homes, or they are sent out by mail.

If you have a child or children that you would like to be included in this series, please let one of our team leaders know:  Linda Burcham, Julie Lewis, Carrie Blanck, Sandy Carey, or Katie Secor. You can also email us at: office@icrclansing.org, with your child’s name, address, and your preferance of delivery, and we will be happy to add them to the list.
