Whether you are a regular attendee, or this is your first time with us, we wanted to make sure that you know how much we appreciate you joining us here for worship today at Immanuel Community Reformed Church. Our mission here at ICRC is “Going into the community, imitating Christ, by feeding body and soul”. Our 4 core values are: nurturing children and youth, doing acts of service, responding to real needs in the community, and welcoming the stranger. Our hope is that we have established an atmosphere where all feel welcome here and are able to engage all that God is, with all that we are!
This morning Pastor Scoggan, graduate of Western Theological Seminary, Associate Pastor of Lifehouse Community Church in Oskaloosa, IA, and native of Zambia, Africa along with his wife, Nadia, from Bazel, Switzerland, will be preaching on prejudice as a form of injustice. Sharing personal stories from their experiences in America along with relevant scriptures, he will teach us how to imitate Jesus by eradicating prejudicial attitudes. Since Pastor Scoggan and his wife are currently residing in Zambia while waiting on a US Visa, our message will be via video.
If you are viewing the service at home via Facebook and are having difficulty hearing/viewing the message portion you can access the sermon video by itself on the website - www.icrclansing.org or as a separate post on Facebook.
