Today as we look at Matthew 25:31-46, we will see that “feeding body and soul” is to seek to meet the needs of others as Christ has served us. As followers of Christ, we are called to look on a world in deep need and respond with humble service.

May Mission of the Month: Youth Haven Ranch is committed to meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of disadvantaged children. This is a place where children learn that they are loved, valued, and have the potential to do great things with their lives. Most importantly, they discover that God loves them, created them for a purpose, and will never leave them.

Youth Group Lock-In (Ages 6th-12th Grade): This Friday, June 10- Saturday June 11, 8 pm-7am.
Congregational Meeting: The annual Congregational meeting will be held next Sunday, June 12, after the service. On the agenda will be a proposed budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year, and the selection of two new deacons, and one new elder. Bruce T and Janet V have been nominated for the Elders. Kerri M, Fred H, and Jessi F have been nominated for the Deacons.
Today is the Deadline to Sign Up for the Lugnuts Game on Friday, June 17, at 7pm: Ticket Price is $11 each. Please sign up on the bulletin board outside of the sanctuary. If you have questions, please call Eric Carlson at (517) 886-1027.
Summer Office Hours: The office hours will be changing temporarily during the summer months. Starting June 20, you can reach Stacia in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00am -1:00pm, and on Thursdays from 8:00 am- 12:00 pm. We will return to the regular office hours Monday- Wednesday, 9 am-1pm, on September 1, 2022.
Summer Mission Trips
Blue, Knob Pennsylvania July 17-23:
The cost of this trip is $150 per person. We are partnering with an organization called Team Effort.
Back Yard Mission Trip August 11- 14 The cost of this trip is $50 per person. This will take place right here at church. We will work in the community on Thursday and Friday during the day and will have games, activities, worship, and devotions in the evening. On Saturday we will be going to Michigan's Adventure. Incoming 6th graders are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Giving
To support the ongoing ministry of Immanuel, please place your offering in one of the offering plates at the front of the sanctuary. You may also submit an offering online at www.icrclansing.org.
Local Needs:
Immanuel Community Resource Closet: Partners with Lansing Christian Services to provide personal hygiene items and household cleaning supplies to families in need. This ongoing ministry is currently in need of paper towel, dish soap, bar soap, men & women’s deodorant, men’s shampoo, tissues, and sanitary pads. Please place donations in the baskets underneath the mailboxes outside of the sanctuary. Families in need, please call Christian Services at (517) 394-5411 for a referral.
Summer CONNECT Dates:
July 13- Water Fun Night
August 10- Back to School Carnival
September 14- Fall Kickoff to Weekly Program
We begin with a meal that the whole family can participate in at 5:30 pm.
Life Groups
We have several Life Group options for adults. Our Life Groups get together to grow in their faith, pray together, serve together, and support one another. If you are interested in joining a Life Group, please email Rick H at rick4944@live.com.
