 Today as we look at 1 John 2:6, we will see that imitating Christ is seeking to live as Jesus did.  We will also see that the primary focus of our lives must be to embody and emulate the character and convictions of Christ Himself.

May Mission of the Month: Camp Geneva and CranHill Ranch are both devoted to being ministries through which God transforms lives into the image of Christ through Youth Camps, Family Camping, Retreats and Adventure Experiences.

Youth Group Lock-in Next Friday, June 10, 8pm- Saturday June 11, 7am (Ages 6th-12th Grade) :  Jr. & Sr. High youth, please look forward to joining us for an overnight stay here at Immanuel with a night full of fun, games, and excitement. This is also a great opportunity to invite a friend! Incoming 6th graders are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Congregational Meeting: The annual Congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, June 12, after the service.  On the agenda will be a proposed budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year, and the selection of two new deacons, and one new elder.  Bruce T and Janet V have been nominated for the Elders.  Kerri M, Fred H, and Jessi F have been nominated for the Deacons. 

Lugnuts Game:  Join us for a ballgame at Jackson Field Friday, June 17, at 7pm.  Ticket Price is $11 each.  Please sign up on the bulletin board outside of the sanctuary by Sunday, June 5.  If you have questions, please call Eric C.

Sundaes on Wednesday: Join us here in the parking lot on Wednesday, June 29, at 6:30 pm, for a free ice cream sundae! This is a community event.

Please Mark the Following Dates on Your Calendar for Our Summer Kid’s CONNECT Events: A free family dinner will be served at 5:30 pm., the kids meet afterwards at 6:15 pm. for planned activities.

 Summer Mission Trips

 Blue, Knob Pennsylvania July 17-23:

The cost of this trip is $150 per person. We are partnering with an organization called Team Effort.

Back Yard Mission Trip August 11- 14 The cost of this trip is $50 per person.  This will take place right here at church. We will work in the community on Thursday and Friday during the day and will have games, activities, worship, and devotions in the evening. On Saturday we will be going to Michigan's Adventure. Incoming 6th graders are welcome and encouraged to attend.

*If you will be attending one or both of these trips, please contact Joey S at jrsouth16@yahoo.com, and if cost is an issue, please let Joey know as we do have some additional fundraising opportunities and can work with you on the price.*

 Giving

To support the ongoing ministry of Immanuel, please place your offering in one of the offering plates at the front of the sanctuary.  You may also submit an offering online at www.icrclansing.org.

 Local  Needs:

Immanuel Community Resource Closet: Partners with Lansing Christian Services to provide personal hygiene items and household cleaning supplies to families in need. This ongoing ministry is currently in need of paper towel, laundry soap, bleach, men’s & women’s body wash, baby wipes, and children’s toothbrushes. Please place donations in the baskets underneath the mailboxes outside of the sanctuary. Families in need, please call Christian Services at (517) 394-5411 for a referral.

 July 13- Water Fun Night

August 10- Back to School Carnival

September 14- Fall Kickoff to Weekly Program

 We begin with a meal that the whole family can participate in at 5:30 pm.

Life Groups

We have several Life Group options for adults. Our Life Groups get together to grow in their faith, pray together, serve together, and support one another. If you are interested in joining a Life Group, please email Rick H at rick4944@live.com.
