ANNOUNCEMENTS
July Mission of the Month: The Greater Lansing Food Bank has led the fight against hunger since 1981, by serving Lansing’s seven-county, 4,000 square-mile service area, ensuring families in need have nutritious food to support their health and well-being, and to weather financial stress or unforeseen life events. The mission of the GLFB is to alleviate hunger one meal at a time and to create a future where everyone has access to nourishing food. Immanuel partners with the GLFB each month to provide a mobile food bank right here in our parking lot, providing opportunities to serve and to meet the needs of those in the community that surrounds us.
Mobile Food Bank: We will host another Mobile Food Bank here in the parking lot on August 3rd, from 9-11 am. If you would like to help sort and put food into cars, please sign up on the “Bulletin Board” tab via our website, or in the Church Center App.
