The book of Haggai is about the people of Israel's return from exile and their neglect of God and rebuilding the Temple, but more than calling the people to task for their laziness, the book of Haggai is about God refocusing the hearts of His people on Him in order for them to re-engage His purposes for them.
In this 4 week series on the book of Haggai, we will look at how God works to call our attention to His presence in our midst so that we too might refocus our hearts on Him and re-engage the mission that He is accomplishing in Jesus Christ by His Spirit.

September Mission of the Month: The Greater Lansing Food Bank has led the fight against hunger since 1981, by serving Lansing’s seven-county, 4,000 square-mile service area, ensuring families in need have nutritious food to support their health and well-being, and to weather financial stress or unforeseen life events. Immanuel partners with the GLFB each month to provide a mobile food bank right here in our parking lot, providing opportunities to serve and to meet the needs of those in the community that surrounds us.
