We continue our series through the Gospel of Mark with the focus that as we discover more about Jesus, we discover more about the life that He calls us to live.
This morning Jesus invites us to see in Mark 9:30-37, how central the cross is to who He is, and the life that He calls us to live in Him.

Prayer Request: Please pray traveling mercies over Mark and June B as they prepare to travel to Mayo Clinic once again for Mark’s check-up. Please also pray for Marks continued healing and strength in Jesus name, trusting in His healing power.
New Members Class: If you are thinking about becoming a new member, please come to the choir room after the service today. Exit the sanctuary, go down the stairs, and then immediately turn right after going through the double glass doors.
Easter Lilies: If you would like to purchase Easter lilies or Tulips in memory of or in celebration of somebody special, please sign-up on the bulletin board outside of the sanctuary. The lilies are $16 each, the Tulips are $7.50. Please place your payment in one of the offering plates at the front of the sanctuary with “Easter Flowers” written on your check or envelope. Your special person’s name will be shared in the bulletin on Easter Sunday, April 17th
Easter Egg Candy Donations: We are collecting small pieces of candy that will fit inside of plastic eggs, for our Community Easter Egg Hunt. If you will be donating candy for this event, please place it in the tub provided outside of the sanctuary.
We Will be Filling Plastic Easter Eggs with Candy on Sunday, April 10: Please come to the Family Life Center after the service that morning if you can help.
Community Easter Egg Hunt Wednesday, April 13, During CONNECT: Dinner will be served outside, at 5:30 pm. The Easter egg hunt will follow at 6:00 pm. The CONNECT Kids will then resume their regular activities after hunt. The Easter Bunny will also be here, so please share this exciting news with your friends and family and we look forward to seeing you here!
Mobile Food Bank Volunteers Needed, Tuesday, April 26, from 4-7 pm.: The Greater Lansing Food Bank is hosting a Mobile Food Bank here at ICRC and would like at least 25 volunteers to help out. If you are able to sort food and put boxes into people's cars, please sign up on the bulletin board located outside of the sanctuary.
These Prayer Team Members are Ready to Pray for You: June B and Sheryl E will be at the front of the sanctuary ready to pray for you. If you are in need of prayer, please come to the foot of the cross during dismissal time. You may also submit a prayer request by filling out the back of one of the connection cards located in the pews and placing it in the Prayer Box at the front of the sanctuary.
CONNECT WEDNESDAYS:
We begin with a meal that the whole family can participate in at 5:30 pm.
CONNECT Kids
Children Ages 3 yrs.-5th Grade join together after dinner to learn about Jesus in a fun and safe environment. They enjoy singing, Bible, stories, arts and crafts, games, and more.
Jr. & Sr. High Youth Group
